Before any arrangement begins, we take time to understand the household — the relative's daily preferences, the family's communication needs, and anything that matters to the people involved. This initial conversation shapes everything that follows.
We do not use a standard script. Each companion is briefed specifically for the household they are visiting. Each coordination plan is written around the family's actual situation, not a template.

We learn about the household, the relative, and what the family is hoping for.
Arrangement design
We select the right companion or coordinator and prepare a household briefing or written plan.
Service begins, with written records
Visits or sessions start on schedule. Written notes go to the family after each one.
Scheduled reviews
We check in formally at 1 month and 3 months, and adjust the arrangement if needed.
Companionship Visit Coordination
Regular friendly visits arranged for an older relative — conversation, shared activities like reading or a hobby, and gentle walks nearby. Suited to families who want a familiar, reassuring presence in the household during weekdays or weekends. Kirana matches a companion based on the relative's personality and interests, builds a simple visit schedule, and shares a short written update with the family after each visit.

For households where multiple relatives share responsibility for an older person — different schedules, different locations, different information. Kirana provides an initial planning session, then puts together a written support plan, a shared family timeline, and a curated list of local Kota Kinabalu resources. Ongoing coordination keeps everyone informed without requiring constant family meetings.

Technology Connection Help
Setting up and explaining simple video calls, messaging apps, and photo sharing for an older relative — so staying in touch with family near and far becomes straightforward and stress-free. Our sessions are patient, at the relative's pace, and include a large-print quick guide left in the home. A follow-up refresher visit is available as part of the arrangement.

Written Records Throughout
Every visit and session generates a short written record. Families are never dependent on memory or word of mouth.
Scheduled Service Reviews
Check-ins at one and three months into every arrangement. If an adjustment is needed, we hear about it early.
Named Coordinator Contact
Families know who to call. Enquiries are answered by the coordinator managing their arrangement, not a central queue.
No Surprise Charges
Fees are stated at the start and confirmed in writing. Out-of-scope requests are always discussed before any cost is involved.
